BC's government seems to be pushing ahead with the Gateway project despite criticism concerning the environmental impacts of the plans. The Gateway plans have been developed without a full and impartial cost/benefit analysis, without public consultation, and without a cumulative effects assessment. Please read this paper. It represents the concerns of a number of environmental groups about this issue and is call to get you involved or to speak out.

ACT NOW to Stop Gateway!

Can the Gateway projects be stopped? You bet your life they can! Three easy steps to clear the air:

1. Contact the Prime Minister and BC’s Premier. Tell them how you feel about shelving the Gateway projects and whether or not it should replaced by a new sustainable public transportation plan.

2. Get active in your community. Join up and help out. See the list of community groups (see sidebar on the left) actively working to stop Gateway in your area.
