  • 10. Upper Eagle Creek Pocket Wilderness. Last remaining valley bottom old growth forest in area between Stave and Harrison Lakes. Virgin forests, waterfalls, world class mountaineering. Threatened by imminent logging.
  • 11. Clear Creek Hot Springs Pocket Wilderness. Hike through old growth forest on old road to wilderness hot springs, mountain lake nearby up forested slopes. Cabin, creek, mountain goats.
  • 12. Slollicum Lake Pocket Wilderness. Trail leads to forested fishing lake.

  • 18. Hanging Lake Pocket Wilderness. Popular trail through grove of huge old growth cedar trees leads to glacier-fringed subalpine lake.
  • 19. Klesilkwa Lake Pocket Wilderness. Last remaining old growth forested valley in popular Custer Ridge Area. A beautiful mountain lake now threatened by logging.
