Send one letter to:

Prime Minister Jean Chretien
House of Commons
Ottawa, Ontario
K1A 0A4
no postage required if mailed in Canada)

Remind the Prime Minister of his 5 year old promise to help protect Clayoquot Sound. Ask him to make Clayoquot a priority now that all stakeholders are requesting his government's leadership and support in developing a Clayoquot Biosphere Reserve that is a model of sustainability for the world to emulate.

Send another letter to:

Premier Glen Clark
Legislative Buildings
Victoria, British Columbia, V8V 1X4
(45 cents postage is required)

Tell him how important it is to you that he finds a way to protect Clayoquot's remaining ancient rainforested watersheds and their pristine, wild, salmon-spawning rivers. Ask him whether or not he will honour the 1993 NDP government promise to "vigorously pursue" a UNESCO Biosphere Reserve designation for Clayoquot Sound to protect this area's beautiful and irreplacable natural heritage.
