This publication, partially finded by Environment Canada, has been prepared by Western Canada Wilderness Committee for the Canadian Coalition of Biodiversity.

The Canadian Coalition of Biodiversity (CCB) is an alliance of eight non-profit conservation and environmental organiations that banded together in late 1994 to increase awareness of the need to protect Canada's biodiversity. It aims to educate Canadians about the long-term benefits of safeguarding biological diversity -- keeping plant and animal species, their diverse gene pools and the ecosystems they live within from going extinct. Members, supporteres and affiliates of the eight groups number more that 95,000 Canadians. Become a member of one or more of the Coalition groups. Support their campaigns and programs to protect biodiversity!
