Volunteers Nights

Every Wednesday and Thursday from 6pm - 9.30pm a team of dedicated volunteers stuff and label letters/envelopes and educational material to promote wilderness preservation. An opportunity to socialize and discuss environmental issues with like minded people. Get going on some envelopes or chill-out and mail-out after he long day of work in a fun and easy-going in Gastown office. Pizza is served.

Qualifications:

  • Interest in wilderness, endangered species and the environment in general.
  • Enjoy working with others within team environment.
  • Minimum requirement of English intermediate (able to understand what kind of organization we are and what we do and why they are doing the work after reading brochure or website intro).
  • 3 1/2 hours per week minimum.
  • E-mail or phone connected.

    Location:

    The Volunteer Night teams, Day team and the mailroom helpers do their work at our office on the 4th floor of 341 Water St. (Gastown), Vancouver. This is half a block away from Waterfront SkyTrain and SeaBus Station. Stay on the North site of the street, walk to the East and look for the brown framed door with our name on it.

    This kind of work is especially busy during October, November and December.
