State of the Rainforest: Vancouver Island Discussion Series

Wilderness Committee event
Monday, March 20, 2017 - 7:00pm - Friday, March 24, 2017 - 9:00pm

The vast rainforests of Vancouver Island have always supported life and abundance here. After decades of extensive logging, these ecosystems have been degraded, and the communities and First Nations that depend on them are paying the price.

Join Sierra Club BC and the Wilderness Committee for an evening of presentations and discussions on the impact of old-growth logging and the need to revitalize the Island's forest industry.

This event is one of four stops on a tour that includes Port Hardy, Campbell River, Parksville, and Courtenay.
