Turtle Talk and Walk in Catchacoma Forest
Join the the Catchacoma Forest Stewardship Committee and Wilderness Committee for a family-friendly event in the Catchacoma Forest to highlight the turtle species that call Catchacoma home.
This event will include:
A presentation by local turtle rescue group the Turtle Guardians (with live turtles!) www.turtleguardians.com
A guided hike to highlight the important water features and wetlands that feed Catchacoma Lake
An update on our efforts to secure conservation status for this rare old-growth hemlock forest.
