Alex (he/him) currently resides in Vancouver on unceded xʷməθkʷəy̓əm, Sḵwx̱wú7mesh and səlilwətaɬ territories.

Alex oversees our communications including publications, social media, action alerts, press releases and many more miscellaneous things. He works from the unceded xʷməθkʷəy̓əm, Sḵwx̱wú7mesh and səlilwətaɬ territories. Alex can be found taking pictures in the middle of rallies, exploring forests and mountains or bent over his computer wondering about the merits of the Oxford comma. His training in journalism led him to join the Wilderness Committee in order to effect more change in the environmental sector. His childhood consisted of wandering through the forests, mountains, creeks and rivers in North Vancouver where he grew to love nature. In his spare time, Alex likes climbing indoors and outdoors, hiking and backpacking.
