Save Fish Lake from Taseko Mines Ltd. (again)

Write now!

Despite being rejected by the federal government twice, Taseko Mines Ltd has applied to the BC government for permits to conduct extensive and damaging exploration work in the Fish Lake area.

Despite having been twice refused permission to construct their open-pit mine at Fish Lake, Taseko Mines Ltd. wants to erect a 50 person work camp, construct many kilometres of roads, drill cores and dig pits throughout the Fish Lake area that is sacred to the Tsilhqot’in people. The damage would be widespread and permanent. This must not happen!
That’s why I am asking you to write Premier Christy Clark today. Demand that permits for exploration work at Fish Lake not be granted to Taseko Mining Ltd.
