What is a green job? We have heard this term come up a lot in politics recently but what really makes a job green? How much of these claims is "greenwashing" and how much is really part of a sustainability solution? What kind of jobs take equity and social justice into account?

We have been very proud to work with the Canadian Centre for Policy Alternatives as part of the Climate Justice Project which attempts to answer these questions from a BC persepctive.

The project has already issued a number of reports on different aspects of the BC economy ranging from Transportation issues, to food security, to Forestry. There is also a good overview of what "Green Jobs" really mean.

In the years to come we will continue to partner with the Climate Justice Project to release more publications that seek to create good green jobs for everyone.
