1996 07 01 TV News Story ‑ Stoltmann Artists Project

Monday, July 1, 1996

This is a short 1996 TV news story about the Wilderness Committee's Stoltmann Wilderness artists project. Modeled after earlier artists projects in the Stein and Carmanah valleys, the Stoltmann project saw over 70 artists visist the area. The artists painted, sculpted and drew what they saw and donated their works to the Wilderness Committee. An art show and auction was later held in Vancouver to raise awareness and funds to continue the fight to save the Stoltmann Wilderness. The Wilderness Committee's Joe Foy is interviewed in this story.
