2016 has been a challenging year for so many reasons. Yet the hardest times always serve a purpose. 

Over the past year, the Wilderness Committee has reaffirmed just how much our work is rooted in the need to protect Canada’s ancient wilderness. The Wilderness Committee was founded over 35 years ago out of a love of wild forests and now as we protect wildlife, fight climate change and defend parks, we are reminded of the magic in a grove of towering trees.
