Several environmental groups are demanding Science World end its partnership with the BC Government.

They claim Science World is hosting workshops promoting LNG, and they say that bias threatens the science educator’s trusted reputation.

The Wilderness Committee’s Eoin Madden says the groups are disappointed Science World is misrepresenting scientific facts.

“We need the Independence of Science World desperately in the years ahead if the BC Government is going to continue to claim that LNG is clean.”

Science World’s CEO Bryan Tisdall says they have lots of partners, but teach all sources of energy without value judgement.

“We welcome that support but a condition of that support is that there can be no influence over our message.”

Science World will continue its series of workshops on energy, and that includes LNG as well as other energy sources.
