Teck Frontier mine would add 36 megatonnes of GHG emissions. For reference, that's similar to the entire GHG emissions of Cuba or Angola or Switzerland. This is a globally significant project. Almost a year ago Climate Campaigner Peter McCartney went to Fort McMurray for the Teck Frontier mine public hearings to voice our opposition to what could be the largest-ever tar sands mine. Now the project is on the brink of becoming reality.
