Chad organizes a team of canvassers to support the Wilderness Committee, planning canvass trips all over British Columbia. Chad works from the unceded Coast Salish Territories. He worked as a carpenter before becoming a canvasser for the Wilderness Committee and is now the Vancouver Canvass Director. He came by his love of nature honestly as his mother was an environmental activist arrested in Clayoquot Sound in the 90s. He grew up in Squamish, an old logging town that was quickly turning into an eco-tourism hub. Listening to punk bands talk about environmental protection brought Chad’s two passions together and he set out to find a way to bring permanent protection to the wild places he loves.
