The Volunteer and Development Coordinator supports donor stewardship activities like responding to phone calls and drop-ins, taking donations and placing orders as needed.
This is a full-time, term position for 12 months, based on a 4-day, 32 hour work week from Mondays to Thursdays. This is an in-person position in our Vancouver office.
The Outreach and Campaign Organizer is responsible for supporting our campaign strategies in Manitoba, including public outreach and engagement, event organizing and canvass coordination.

Canvassing positions
The Wilderness Committee hires contractors to work as door-to-door canvassers:
- Vancouver (unceded xʷməθkʷəy̓əm, Sḵwx̱wú7mesh and səlilwətaɬ territories)
- Victoria (Coast Salish, Nuu chah nulth, and Kwakiutl territories)
- Winnipeg (Treaty 1 territory and homeland of the Métis Nation)
- Toronto (Wendat, Anishnabeg, Haudenosaunee, Chippewa and Mississaugas of the Credit traditional territories)

Your job will be to canvas door to door, or occasionally at special events or busy public locations, to gather signatures on our petition asking the provincial government to implement a managed decline of the LNG industry and end fracking in B.C.
You’ll work as an independent contractor for a minimum of 12 hours per week at a rate of $25.00/hour.
