Build the Movement

Make nature and wildlife impossible to ignore

What turns a campaign into a movement? You do. When you, your friends, neighbours and community work in concert to pressure, those in power begin to change their tune.

Taking action starts with signing a petition. Then, when you join others to engage lawmakers, you remind them who they answer to. Local residents. Youth. Elders. Indigenous rights holders. Land defenders. Scientists, and more.

Here’s where we’re taking action right now. We’ve already saved you a seat.

Tell B.C. To Protect Old-Growth Forests

Not only is the provincial government allowing for the clearcut of old-growth forests, they’re hiding the truth from the public. Logging companies shouldn’t be able to turn a profit at the expense of communities and ecosystems. Once you sign our petition, learn how to help us keep constant and repeated pressure on lawmakers to protect some of nature’s most abundant ecosystems.

Tell B.C. To End fracking And LNG

Fracking wells to extract fracked gas scar the land and devastate the health of nearby communities. Fracked gas is mostly methane, an extremely potent greenhouse gas, yet marketed as “clean” liquified natural gas (LNG). Adding your voice makes the issue harder for the provincial government to ignore. We can coach you and your neighbours on what to say to your MLA so you become too hard to ignore.

Experience the areas we’re working hard to protect. We bring passionate supporters out to witness spectacular wilderness areas at-risk of being destroyed, and support First Nations partners to build and restore trails that provide access to their lands.

Join The Movement

Our supporters have shown up to make a scene that the media can’t ignore. We’ve attended early morning courthouse press conferences to show solidarity with Indigenous land defenders. We've dropped banners and painted murals during high-traffic events. And we've had countless sit-ins at the offices of elected representatives. Sign up for our newsletters to get in on the action!

“I was at the front marshalling at the old-growth rally. What a moving day. Great energy, great amount of people and such a privilege to use our voices to speak for the earth. After all that’s really why we’re here. To care for her.”
