This is a short TV news story about the arrival of the Wilderness Committee's "Stumpy" in Vancouver on its way to Ottawa. "Stumpy" was used as a "publicity stump" by the Wilderness Committee to draw attention to the fight to save the pristine valleys of Clayoquot Sound from logging. Stumpy is originally from the Clayoquot River Valley. The Wilderness Committee's Joe foy was interviewed in this story.
