The Saint Timothy Anglican Church in Burnaby is inviting community members for a forum on Wednesday, June 27, to discuss Kinder Morgan's proposed plan to expand the Trans Mountain pipeline.

The church has invited politicians from various levels of government, as well as representatives from First Nations groups, Kinder Morgan and the local Chevron refinery. Organizers say the forum will be one of the first opportunities for Burnaby residents to have their say about the proposal, and to hear the views of local representatives and stakeholders.

According to the church, the forum isn't about advocating for a particular outcome, but simply a chance for citizens to learn about the project and voice their questions and concerns.
