Movement to End Fracking ‑ False Creek Door Canvass

Have you ever wanted to get involved in environmental activism but you weren't sure how? Now is your chance! 

Join Wilderness Committee staff and volunteers for an afternoon of grassroots organizing as we go door to door in Vancouver's False Creek neighborhood to chat with folks about why fracking is BC's biggest climate problem. We'll be gathering signatures for our petition calling on the provincial government to end fracking in BC and encouraging people to sign action cards letting their MLA know they want an end to fracking. 

Don't worry if you've never done anything like this before, we'll have staff available to answer any questions you might have, and we can pair you with a more experienced volunteer who will help show you the ropes.

What: Canvassing in False Creek! 
Where: Meet the crew outside False Creek Elementary School, 900 School Green, Vancouver. 
When: 1:00pm to 5:00pm, Saturday May 27, 2023
