Fish Lake Report

This is a Wilderness Committee On the Ground Report about the fight to protect Fish Lake from being destroyed by an open pit mine being proposed by Taseko Mines Ltd. Fish Lake is in Xeni Gwet'in (pronounced Honey Gweteen) Territory, and is part of the Tsilhqot'in (pronounced Chilcotin) Nation, located west of Williams Lake, British Columbia, Canada. Stop mining in Clayoquot Sound

The B.C. government has renewed mining exploration permits in the Tranquil Creek watershed, in direct opposition from the Tla-o-qui-aht First Nation.
