Hot off the press - brand new Wilderness Committee report about Clayoquot Sound!

Thursday, June 18, 2009

Great news! Today, Thursday, June 18, 2009 - we just received 70,000 copies of a brand new Wilderness Committee education report on Clayoquot Sound. Here's a link to the report...

We have co-published it with the Tla-o-qui-aht First Nations. It's all about their newly designated Ha'uukmin Tribal Park - a 500 square kilometre region of mountians, rivers and rainforest that takes in the entire Kennedy Lake watershed including the pristine Upper Kennedy and Clayoquot river valleys. By end of day next Monday I promise to have a digital copy posted to this page.  This is great news for those who love the ancient forests of Clayoquot Sound! Remember, we always need people to help distribute our newspapers to friends, family and local businesses - so if you can please lend a hand! Phone Sven at our offices at 1-800-661-9453 (or 604-683-8220 in the Lower Mainland) or email Sven at sven@wildernesscommittee.org and he will mail you as many newspapers as you request. Thanks!
