This is a 33 minute 1991 video about the fight to protect the ancient forests of the Walbran Valley on southwest Vancouver Island. Before there were the blockades in the Elaho, before the huge protests in Clayoquot Sound, there was the Walbran Valley protest. Wilderness Committee Cmapign Director, Joe Foy is interviewed in this video report.  By 1995 the lower Walbran Valley had been protected in the Carmanah Walbran Pacific Provincial Park. The fight to protect the upper Walbran Valley continues to this day.
