Wilderness Committee to stage action card delivery at BC Legislature

VICTORIA – Representatives of the Wilderness Committee and other concerned citizens will meet on the steps of the BC Legislature on Wednesday to deliver thousands of postcards from citizens calling on the BC government to halt logging in the endangered Walbran Valley.

The cards will be received by Scott Fraser, MLA for Alberni-Pacific Rim (the riding that encompasses the Walbran), who will then deliver the messages inside the Legislature.

The delivery event will include a press briefing, with printouts of the endangered old-growth forests as well as other creative visuals.
