Wilderness Committee to bring crisis in the Walbran Valley to BC Legislature

VICTORIA – Representatives of the Wilderness Committee and other concerned citizens will hold a creative demonstration in front of the BC Legislature at noon today to draw attention to controversial old-growth logging in the Walbran Valley.

On the Legislature lawn, activists will simulate the clearcut logging that is currently underway in the Walbran Valley, before delivering letters to key BC decision-makers calling on them to protect the last stands of irreplaceable old-growth forests.
