Research and Mapping Coordinator
Geoff Senichenko

Geoff (he/him) currently resides in Burnaby on unceded səlilwətaɬ (Tsleil-Waututh), kʷikʷəƛ̓əm (Kwikwetlem), xʷməθkʷəy̓əm (Musqueam) and Stó:lō territories.

Geoff is responsible for mapping projects and providing research support for the Wilderness Committee campaign team. Geoff works from the unceded Coast Salish Territories. He also participates in field expeditions, as he enjoys hiking and exploring wilderness areas both in and out of work. Geoff studied ecology and environmental science at UBC and went on to do ecological consulting and ecosystem mapping work for several years. He wanted to do more to promote wilderness conservation so he joined Wilderness Committee as a canvasser. He then became the organization’s research and mapping director. Geoff has had a love for wilderness and nature ever since he was a kid growing up and going camping with his family.
