Natalie Smith

Natalie (she/her) currently resides in Manitoba on Treaty One Territory and the homeland of the Métis Nation.

 

Natalie is the Campaign and Outreach Organizer in Manitoba, where she works hard to build public support for our campaign work, supports our door-to-door canvass team and does a little bit of everything else. She graduated from the University of Winnipeg an honours degree in Political Science and has since worked in political offices and non-profits in Winnipeg. A fierce advocate for community and a proud North End resident, Natalie ran as a council candidate in the Mynarski ward in 2022, finishing second out of five candidates. She is also a board member of her local community centre as well as We Rock Winnipeg, a group that puts on rock n’ roll day camps for girls and gender diverse teens. In between playing at shows and attending community meetings, Natalie enjoys camping and hiking trips with her wife Kara and spending time with their rescue dog Louanne and cat Ralph.
