Pallavi Rao

Pallavi (she/her) currently resides in Vancouver on unceded xʷməθkʷəy̓əm, Sḵwx̱wú7mesh and səlilwətaɬ territories.

 

Pallavi has run the entire gamut of the journalism-content-communications pipeline in her career and now handles the editorial and communication work of the Wilderness Committee, furthering their activism work and deepening relations with their supporters. With her experience in print, TV and digital content, she uses her insights from mass media work to help the organization reach a broad cross-section of society. Her previous bylines can be found in BCBusiness, The Tyee and Visual Capitalist. When not at work, she can be found flailing around at a local tennis court, in a futile attempt to improve her serve.
