Save the Wild Side of Vancouver Island

This 1990 Wilderness Committee education report calls for the protection of 22 wilderness areas located on the west side of Vancouver Island. Today we continue to work for the protection of many of these areas - but some have have been granted park status. The Upper Carmanah Valley, Megin Valley and Tashish-Kwois are three such areas that are now within provincial parks. See our History and Achievements page.
