Ontario Old Growth Forest Symposium

              The aim of the Ontario Old-Growth Symposium is to bring together researchers, conservationists, planners and nature-lovers to share knowledge and perspectives on identifying and protecting old-growth/ intact forest ecosystems for their critical contributions to biodiversity, climate resilience and human well-being.
The symposium will include presentations and open discussion in a convivial atmosphere. Open to anyone interested in old-growth forests in the province.
The event will include both in-person and remote presentations on work being done to identify, conserve and describe the conservation values of old growth and intact forests in the province.
