"Pipeline Blues" Song by Fraser Union

Wednesday, October 10, 2012

"Pipeline Blues" was inspired by a March 26, 2012 rally in downtown Vancouver protesting the proposed expansion of oil pipelines and tanker traffic in BC. Written and performed by the Vancouver-based band, Fraser Union, this song reminds us of what we stand to lose in the event of a major oil spill on land or sea.
The song has been performed (and prompted sing-alongs) at pipeline town hall meetings co-hosted by the Wilderness Committee in Vancouver and Burnaby.
