Rapid Bus on Port Mann Bridge Needed Now

Learn how cost-effective rapid bus service could work over the heavily congested Port Mann Bridge tomorrow - using a queue-jumper bypass lane. While the BC Liberal government insists on twinning the Port Mann as a part of Gateway, their $3 billion highway megaplan, the Livable Region Coalition says transit can be restored to the existing bridge. They say the most critical tool to fight climate change and regional traffic congestion is a major investment in public transit. Bus service over the Port Mann Bridge is an important and achievable first step.
