TV News Story - BC Chamber Energy Summit and Burnaby Pipeline Town Hall

Wednesday, October 10, 2012

This is a television news story about conflicting perspectives about pipeline development in BC -- as anti-pipeline protesters converged outside the BC Chamber Energy Summit in Vancouver, industry representatives inside touted the potential for economic benefit if controversial projects like the Enbridge Northern Gateway pipeline move ahead. Wilderness Committee campaigner Ben West was at the summit to share the "other side" of the industry's story.
This news piece also addresses community opposition to the Kinder Morgan pipeline expansion, in advance of a town hall meeting in Burnaby co-hosted by BROKE (Burnaby Residents against Kinder Morgan Expansion), Tanker Free BC and the Wilderness Committee.
