TV News Story ‑ Kamloops Fracking Event

Representatives of the Wilderness Committee have planned a town hall meeting tonight at Thompson Rivers University - on the subject of hydraulic fracturing - or fracking. Eoin Madden says the provincial government's grand plans to exploit the province's natural gas resources do not agree with their own climate change goals. Madden says 'fracking' is highly inefficient and not environmentally friendly.' Similar forums are planned for the following two nights in Salmon Arm and Vernon.
