Saturday, July 04, 2015

This is a TV news story about the Salish Sea Tour, a series of public events connected to the voyage of a solar powered catamaran, following the route of tankers coming to fill up at the Kinder Morgan tar sands oil facility - with spokespeople from the Wilderness Committee and Tanker Free BC. The tour aims to raise awareness of the impacts and costs of human-caused climate change in BC and some of it's root causes such as the export of coal, natural gas and crude oil. The Wilderness Committee's Eoin Madden is interviewed in this report.
